<div itemprop="description">Dr. Rosalino Colendrino Vinluan, 72, of Mississauga, Ontario, passed away peacefully in the presence of his family after a long and courageous battle against cancer on Wednesday, June 22, 2016. Born in Binmaley, Pangasinan in the Philippines, to Rosalina and Hernando Vinluan, he grew up in Binmaley before relocating to Ottawa, Toronto, and eventually settling in Mississauga, Canada. <br> <br>Rosalino (or “Saling” for short) was a caring and generous man who loved to spend time with his family and helping those around him. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, traveling, entertaining others, and watching the Blue Jays and Filipino shows. <br> <br>Saling was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church and a life member of Knights of Columbus. While trained as a dentist in the Philippines, Saling humbly worked as a chemical compounder for Mennen/Colgate in Canada while raising his children. He was an extremely loving husband and his most proud accomplishments are his four children and three grandchildren. <br> <br>Saling is survived by his wife and best friend, Gloria; his daughter Evangeline and her husband Joaquin and granddaughter Janeve; his daughter Irene and husband Jeff; his son Melvin and his wife Christine and granddaughter Valkyrie; his son Mark and his wife Bahar and grandson Omeed; his brothers Ben from Binmaley and Jesus from Virginia (USA); as well as his many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, Godchildren, aunt and friends. <br> <br>Family and friends will be received at the SCOTT FUNERAL HOME, “MISSISSAUGA CHAPEL” (420 Dundas Street East, Mississauga) on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 9:30 AM at Saints Peter and Paul Parish, (4070 Central Parkway East, Mississauga). Interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, (6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga). <br> <br> <br>I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith - 2 Timothy 4:7 <br></div>
