Mary White
July 6, 1930 - June 14, 2016
Mary O. White (nee Ross) -- Passed away suddenly but peacefully at home in Etobicoke on June 14, 2016 at the age of 85 years. Survived by her husband of 61 years, Edward (Ted) White and her children Don (Sue), Laura (NJ Bridge), Peter, and Brian (Christine). Adored Grandma to Kyle (Robin) and their 3 children, Michael (Kristen), Matthew (Sarah) White; the Whitebridge kids: Quinn, the late Laine, John, Stephanie, Joel; and Liam and Erin White. Also, survived by her brother, Charlie Ross (Fran McIntyre).
Mary was always interested, thoughtful, kind and meticulously just. She was an unassuming adventurer, loved to travel and try new things. She read several newspapers a day, keeping stacks of clippings for later reference or that she thought might be of interest to her children or grandchildren. She became a veracious genealogy sleuth in her later years, with great success. Though she suffered a lifetime of medical issues, they did not dampen her spirit. We, her family, are eternally grateful for her devotion and kindness. She leaves an enormous gap.
