<div itemprop="description">Mario Aceto, 57, died suddenly on April 1, 2016 in Toronto, Ontario after a long and courageous battle with depression. <br /> <br />He was born on July 9, 1958 in Johannesburg, South Africa, the first born son of Salvatore and Rosaria Aceto (nee Pincente). The family emigrated to Canada in 1961 and settled in Toronto. The family eventually grew to include siblings Carlo, Roberto, Annamaria and Aldo. Mario married Rosanna (nee Attisano) in 1986 and the pair was blessed with two children, Michael Salvatore (born in 1989) and Christopher Leonard (born in 1993). <br /> <br />Mario was a lifelong car and motorcycle enthusiast and built his career working as a mechanic. He was an employee of Humberview Motors in Toronto for nearly 3 decades and formed many lasting friendships with his co-workers and customers over the years. He was known for his friendly, contagious personality and love for his large circle of friends and family. He will be dearly missed by all. <br /> <br />He is survived by his two sons, Michael and Christopher; his spouse of 27 years, Rosanna; his mother, Rosaria; his siblings Carlo, Annamaria (David) and Aldo (Rosanna); his nephews and nieces, including Noah, Kathryn, Julia, Paul (Sonia), Andrew, Jordan, Adrian, Damian, Vianna, Matthew, Julian, Joe, Lisa, Kenzie, Xander, and Kaylee; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and family members in Italy and South Africa. <br /> <br />He is preceded in death by his father Salvatore (d. 2001) and his brother Roberto (d. 1970). <br /> <br />Contributions in memory of Mario may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association (www.cmha.ca).</div>
